LIGHTS OF BOSTON 2016
As a tribute to one of the most recognized cities in the world, luminArtz #bringstolight what is extraordinary about Boston. Introducing LIGHT OF BOSTON 2016, a spectacular celebration of Boston’s history, culture and future as a leader in innovation, technology and art. This unprecedented and dynamic addition to the City’s holiday celebrations is Boston’s new signature event designed to capture the essence of Bostonians and visitors in full holiday mode.
Using dramatic 3D projection techniques, and colorful animation, Boston’s original Art Square, will transform into an enchanted landscape of festive and familiar scenes syncronized to an original music composition created by Richard "Gus" Sebring, an associate principal horn of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and principal horn of the Boston Pops Orchestra.
Richard and members of the BSO will perform live on the steps of the Boston Public Library on opening night December 15th at 5:00 PM promising to capture the essence of Bostonians and visitors in full holiday mode.
